As the Technical Investigators for a large Shipping Company, TQC were able to prove that the natural frequency for the Drive Shaft Coupling on a Super Tanker, would always cause a failure after 1/2 hr in Crash Astern

TQC made an evaluation of a Conveyor System to ensure its fitness for purpose, on behalf of a ballbearing manufacturer

TQC conducted a Process Investigation into the manipulation & transportation of house hold waste to a furnace on behalf of a Generating Plant which was experiencing blockages. Our investigations lead to the successful solution to what had been an ongoing and costly problem for the Generating Plant

Following the catastrophic explosion of the Nypro chemical works at Flixborough, TQC designed, built and ran the main test rig on behalf of the enquiry team. This rig evaluated the bellows unit, connecting tanks at the Nypro works. The failure of one of these bellows (below) allowed the escape of explosive gas. The rig was run on a 24 hour/day basis under  conditions of strict security.
