Kingspan® Renewables
have recently placed an order in the region of One Million
Pounds with TQC Ltd for the design and manufacture of equipment
to handle Thermomax® solar products.
The Thermomax®
solar heating system is the market leader in the use of high
efficiency solar vacuum tubes. The systems are used in heating
domestic hot water, swimming pools and commercial water heating
systems.
The contract awarded
to TQC is part of a major investment by the Kingspan® group
in a new factory in Portadown, Northern Ireland.
The handling and
test equipment that TQC will supply includes significant helium
leak testing stations and a final function test, all designed
to ensure that the solar tubes are produced to the highest
level. TQC will be working closely with Kingspan® Renewables
over the coming months in supplying a successful suite of
machinery.
