system designed and supplied by TQC allow poka yoke assembly of
automotive plastic parts, this is the expected procedure within
the automotive industry today and allows the assembly operations
to be deskilled and 100% correct.

Assembly &
Clip Detection
Machines have
been produced for checking the presence of manually inserted
clips into automotive body trim mouldings. The operator
loads the plastic mouldings onto the jig or fixture and
fits the clips using a special application tool. Left hand
and right hand parts are handled simultaneously on the same
machine

Assembly
with Length Check & Clip Detection
Further
checks can be carried out for the tolerance on the length
of the moulding. Only if the moulding is within limits will
the machine allow the operator to rotate the plastic moulding
to gain access to fit the clips. On completion of checking,
a label is automatically printed for the operator to apply
prior to unloading.
